Luxury menswear label Sarah & Sandeep has launched their latest conceptual atelier, nestled in a serene bungalow off Linking Road in Mumbai. This expansive 2600+ square foot, two-level studio represents the brand’s vision for the future of Indian tailoring and mindful luxury.
The interior design, curated by Jason Wadhwani, features a warm and inviting palette of greige tones accented with bronze. Textured walls, handmade ceramic pots, houndstooth fabric wardrobes, and bouclé furniture create a harmonious balance that reflects the brand’s commitment to minimalism and craftsmanship.
The atelier’s design thoughtfully integrates natural elements, with large windows allowing natural light to flood the space and lush green Raphis Palms adding a homely ambiance. The interplay of muted wall tones and strategically placed lighting highlights Sarah & Sandeep’s creations, further enriching the customer experience.
On the ground floor, visitors will find a curated display of the brand’s formal wear, including black-tie tuxedos, dinner jackets, and Triunity wedding wear, focusing on the house’s development of their contemporary ceremonial attire. The space also features handcrafted accessories and a bespoke shoe cabinet, offering a comprehensive wardrobe experience[5].
The lower level of the studio houses three distinct internal departments: Design, Tailoring & Collaboration. Here, a team of skilled artisans meticulously work on garments, providing clients with insight into the bespoke construction process. The director’s den, adorned with grey marble, velvet accents, and a geometric chandelier, serves as a meeting space for strategic and design collaborations.
