NBCC (India) Limited, a state-owned enterprise, has secured a project valued at Rs 70 crore from the Grid Controller of India for the execution of interior works at their new corporate office in New Delhi. In an official statement, NBCC officials announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Grid Controller of India Limited (Grid-India) for the interior fit-outs and associated infrastructure works at the office located in Ayurvigyan Nagar, New Delhi.
The MoU, signed by Alok Kumar, Senior General Manager of Grid-India, and Mudit Bhatnagar, CGM (Engg) of NBCC, was witnessed by S R Narasimhan, CMD of Grid-India, K P Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC, B K Sokhey, Director (Finance) of NBCC, Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects) of NBCC and other senior officials from both organizations.
The new office space, which is roughly 61,000 square feet, was previously purchased by Grid-India from NBCC for about Rs 270 crore. Now, NBCC has been entrusted with the task of furnishing the office space as well. NBCC is primarily engaged in project management consultancy (PMC) and real estate activities.
Grid-India, the company in charge of “National Load Dispatch,” previously paid NBCC about Rs 270 crore for the new office, which is about 61,000 square feet. Now, Grid-India has given NBCC the task of equipping its office as well. NBCC is involved in the real estate industry as well as project management consulting (PMC).
